Heal Yourself Through Color!

Healing color palettes that can inspire and change lives

Color can’t cure illness but it can make you feel better. As I’ve studied and taught color for over 45 years, I’ve learned a lot about myself. The vibrations of color and healing properties are very comforting once you understand them.

Dewey Color System: vibrant, white, brown, black tones.

Imagine the possibilities

The first healing color palette (shown above) are colors that will help you “Imagine The Possibilities.” The one aspect of the Dewey Color System I enjoy so much is the 4 colors we get from one color.

Vibrant tones

Lime green, purple and gold.

White tones

Spring green, lavender and golden.

Brown tones

Camel, grape and bronze.

Black Tones

Palm green, dark purple and leaf.

If you don’t want too much color, use the white tones. Want to feel more grounded and create a sensation? Use the brown tones. Do you want to create drama? The black tones will do just that! They all have the same healing vibrations of Imagine the Possibilities.

Color meanings

Lime green

Gives you the stamina to question what is missing in your life. Ignites your passions by letting your inner voice speak. You will discover how you are yearning to feel. Questioning yourself gives you the power to know exactly what you need to do.

Creates the ability to see new possibilities, ideas and strategies for yourself and others. Visit with your emotions. In them you will discover a greatness that can only be imagined. You will gain the personal power to create something original.

Gives you the power to rediscover what gives you pleasure. Ignites your inner fire. Give yourself time to do what feels good. Play! Your new awareness of exciting people and situations will give you the power to dismiss and eventually discard your undesirable thoughts and situations.

Attract inspiring opportunities

The second healing color palette will be: “Attract inspiring Opportunities”. Both palettes are for people who perhaps just moved and are looking for a new job or have lost their job.

Gives you a better understanding of yourself. Be true to the child in you by taking the time to make sure the “me” in you is okay. You will access your inner power, which enables you to create a more nurturing, supportive world.

Enthusiastically inspires you to start something new. When you are open to the world, your world will be open to you. Like a magnet, you will gain the power to attract a new opportunity.

Yellow gives you the wisdom to know what you need. Constantly critique the ongoing conversation you are having with yourself by re-evaluating what you are getting from others and from situations. You will gain the power to know what motivates you and see the reality of others.

Select the color tones you prefer

From vibrant, white, brown, and black tones, stay within your color preference. Use and enjoy those tones. Being a non-yellow fan—I love the black tones. If you really don’t like color, go with the white tones and keep trying to remember the energy vibrations they will give you.
